Dowling Street Fire

(HANNIBAL)—Faulty wiring is the cause of a Saturday afternoon fire at 211 Dowling in Hannibal. Hannibal firefighters were called out around 3 p-m and they arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the eaves of the house. Firefighters needed about 10 minutes to confine the fire to one of three apartments. An upstairs apartment sustained fire and smoke damage. Two lower apartments received some water damage. No injuries are reported.
