Dennis Oliver Says Goodbye Friday

A tri-state radio favorite signed off for the last time Friday morning.

Long time Y101 morning co-host Dennis Oliver recently announced his retirement, ending a 40 year career behind the microphone.

Friday morning’s show consisted of four hours of in-studio visits and calls from family, friends, co-workers, listeners and well-wishers.

Dennis’ broadcast career began in Pittsfield, with a stop in Canton before coming to Quincy, first on 99Q, and then to what is now Y101.
