Four fumbles, including one on the final play, helped the Culver-Stockton defense win the annual spring football game.

The recovered fumbles and five sacks in the 75 play scrimmage helped the defense win 47-43, despite allowing 284 yards on the day. A modified scoring system was used highlighted by the defense being credited with seven points for getting a turnover. Linebacker Edgardo Ayala had two of the sacks totaling 20 yards in losses. Ayala and Jeff Treadway each had six tackles on the afternoon.

The offense put up touchdowns on a 4 yard run by Shon Enoch and a 44 yard pass from Matt Gunterman to Jack Klyczek. Enoch had eight carrries on the day for 69 yards. Gunterman completed four of nine throws for 77 yards. Irving Collier was the leading receiver with seven catches for 64 yards.
