Decker Pleads Guilty, Sentenced for Sexual Assault

A former Quincy man pleads guilty and is sentenced on sexual assault charges in Adams County Circuit Court Monday.

51 year old Derek Decker pleaded guilty to one count of criminal sexual assault and one count of predatory criminal sexual assault. A plea deal resulted in three additional criminal assault charges being dropped.

Judge Robert Adrian then sentenced Decker to ten years in prison on each count, with the sentences to be served consecutively.

Decker was arrested on November 2nd, 2016 after two minors alleged that Decker had sexually assaulted them between 2012 and 2014.

Decker will have to serve 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole, then will face mandatory supervised release for the next three years to life.
