Davis Sentenced to Prison for Sexual Assault

A Quincy man is sentenced Monday after pleading guilty in Adams County Circuit Court to child abuse charges.

34 year old William Davis was to have gone to trial next week for predatory criminal sexual assault.

He was sentenced to eight years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Davis is alleged to have sexually abused a five year old girl last May.

Davis must serve 85 percent of his sentence. After his sentence is complete, he will serve between three years and the rest of his life under mandatory supervised release.
