It's one of the more popular garden utilities in America and definitely in Missouri, yet it has a dangerous flaw that has caused the government to warn gardeners to top using it immediately.

I wish I had a nickel for every garden my dad used to manage in rural Missouri. He had one when we lived in the city, too. One of his favorite tools was a wireless tiller similar to one that is now under an emergency stop order from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.

They just issued this bulletin saying "Black & Decker Recalls CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Tillers/Cultivators Due to Laceration Hazards".

The problem isn't with the tiller/cultivator so much as the instructions of how to assemble it. The instructions sent out with the tiller were incorrect and could lead to sharp parts on the bottom becoming a laceration danger because of improper assembly.

If you're a gardener in Missouri that has one of these Black and Decker tools, look for the UPC number 885911843430. If you find that number, you need to stop using the tiller immediately and contact the manufacturer for new correct instructions on how it's supposed to be put together.
