The Lewis County Health Department Thursday reported five additional positive cases of coronavirus, ranging in age from 50 to 90.

The total COVID cases in Lewis County rises to 87, with 18 active, 66 recovered and three deaths.

In Ralls County, health department officials report three new cases since Monday, bringing their coronavirus total to 129. That number includes 20 active cases, two hospitalized and 109 recovered.

And, the Shelby County Health Department reported Thursday one new positive case of novel coronavirus, who had already been in quarantine due to being a close household contact.

The COVID total in Shelby County is now 49, with seven active and two hospitalized.

 

Health department officials in Hancock and Pike counties in Illinois reported new confirmed cases of coronavirus Thursday.

The Hancock County Health Department and Memorial Hospital reports five new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases, one male in his 60s to 70s and four females from their 20s to 40s. All are connected to other positive cases, and all are recovering at home.

There have been a total of 157 coronavirus cases in Hancock County, with 24 active cases, 131 recoveries and two deaths.

In Pike County, Illinois, health department officials report three new COVID cases, two females age 30s to 50s and one male in his 60s.

Pike County has now had 87 coronavirus cases, with 22 active, five hospitalized and 65 recovered.
