Snack Company Building Mid-Missouri Plant in 2025 with 250 Jobs
They are being described as the fastest-growing snack and food brand in the United States and that growth will include a brand new facility in the middle of Missouri in 2025 bringing with it 250 jobs.
Have you ever had Chomps? Most people apparently have as they have become a very popular brand in the snack stick industry. According to a press release they just shared, they will soon have a big presence in the middle of Missouri with a new plant to be built in Mexico.
This new Mexico facility will be part of a partnership with Western Smokehouse Partners. The building will be massive as they describe it as "spanning 300,000 square feet, will be one of the largest manufacturing sites for the Chomps brand and is expected to create approximately 250 full-time jobs employed by WSP initially, with potential for future expansion".
There is already a Western Smokehouse Partners facility in Greentop, Missouri.
The press release from Chomps says this third manufacturing facility will enable them to greatly expand their production which has already netted them $4.6 billion dollars in sales according to the information they shared.
This is potentially great news for mid-Missouri with the big bump in job opportunities. Their stated plan is to have it ready for operation sometime in 2025.
