Following Monday night's windstorm in Quincy, several local businesses and restaurants are closed due to the power outage and/or property damage. Here is a list of businesses that are open and offering special services to the public following the storm. Butcher Block: Open. Cooking out on their parking lot. They have ice.
County Market: Both stores open.
Farm & Home Supply: Open
Gas Stations: 8th & York, 6th & Broadway, Walmart, North 24th Caseys
Hy-Vee: Both stores open. Additional ice and water is on the way to the stores.
Home Depot: Open
Illinois Signal: Free charging center
Interstate All Battery Center: Selling sump pump batteries, flashlights, alkalines, booster packs, security camera batteries, security and alarm batteries, car chargers, etc. Located at 48th and Maine. (217-214-1069).
Jimbeana's: Open.
John Wood Community College: Charging/cooling center
Kroc Center: Serving lunch and dinner, but cooling system damaged and will not serve as a cooling center.
Peters Heating and Air Conditioning: Open
Quincy Public Library: Open. Has power.
Quincy Tire Pros: Open with power and air at all three locations.
Scotties Fun Spot : Open
Thyme Square Cafe: Open, WiFi
US Cellular: Free charging station in front of store next to Starbucks
