Blessing Ranked Among the Safest Hospitals in U.S.

A leading healthcare consumer group names Blessing Hospital as one of the safest hospitals in the nation for the second year in a row.

The nonprofit organization known as The Leapfrog Group gives letter grades to over 2,600 hospitals across the country twice a year. The group gives Blessing an “A” for patient safety.

An expert panel judges each hospital based on 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data.

Blessing is one of about 800 hospitals nationwide and just 38 in Illinois named among the nations safest.
