Arson Not Suspected in Antioch Baptist Church Fire

Investigators have determined that arson likely was not the cause of the Antioch Baptist Church fire earlier this week.

An agent with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was called in to survey the damage of Tuesday’s fire in Ralls County.

He reported there was no evidence to indicate the fire was a criminal act. However, exactly what caused the fire has yet to be determined.
