Alabama Man Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize, Ticket Purchased in Lewistown
An Alabama man came to northeast Missouri to go deer hunting, and left with a big check from the Missouri Lottery.
In a press release, lottery officials report that Woodrow Hicks, Jr. of Oxford, Alabama leases land in the area so he can go bow hunting.
During his last trip, Hicks purchased a $20 “$4-million Payout” scratchers ticket at the County Market Express in Lewistown. The ticket turned out to be worth $100,000.
Hicks says he and his wife plan to use the money to pay bills and pad their savings account.
