Adams County Reports 16th COVID Death, 52 New Cases

The Adams County Health Department Friday announced the 16th COVID-19 related death of an Adams County resident, a female in her 70s.

There was more bad news Friday. Officials announced 52 new confirmed cases of coronavirus. They include 27 males age 10 to 70s and 25 females, age 10 to 90s.

Adams County’s COVID total now stands at 1,786, with 250 active cases, 44 hospitalized from 30s to 100s, eight in intensive care, and now 16 deaths.

The county’s preliminary seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests jumps to 13.09%.
