Health department officials reported just 21 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, along with one additional death in northeast Missouri and western Illinois Thursday.

14 of those new cases were reported in Adams County, bringing their case total to 7,761, with 197 active, 20 hospitalized, three in intensive care and 108 deaths.

The positivity rate in Adams County remains low at 2.56%.

Elsewhere, the Clark County Health Department reported four new coronavirus cases Thursday. Their case total now stands at 696, with 25 active, one hospitalized and 21 deaths.

In Marion County, officials reported two new COVID cases Thursday, running their case total to 3,487, with 58 active, eleven hospitalized and 63 deaths.

The Lewis County Health Department reported one new coronavirus case Thursday. Their case total is now 1,062, with 11 active and 20 deaths.

And, in Pike County, Illinois, officials reported no new COVID cases, but did report one COVID related death, a male in his 80s. The Pike County case total is now 1,630, with 24 active, four hospitalized and 47 deaths.
