The 30th anniversary of New London Park Days in New London, Missouri will be held Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6, back on the Ralls County Courthouse lawn and on the square.

Events this year will include a classic car cruise, cornhole tournament, and a 5k. Sign ups are being taken now. There will be a kids zone with games, arts and crafts, a tattoo station, prizes and more. The kids zone is open to kids of all ages and admission is just $3. There will also be a parade, carnival and motorcycle show, beer garden, dancing, karate demonstrations and more.

The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. The carnival will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. both days. Armbands cost $20 per session, while individual ride tickets are $3 apiece or you can get 10 for $20. Armband sessions are from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday evening, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., then again from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 pm. on Saturday. 1 ticket equals 1 ride.

Plenty of pageants will also be going on including Tiny Mr. and Miss New London, Little Mr. and Miss New London, Petite Miss New London, Junior Miss New London and Miss New London. Pageants are open to candidates from with 25 miles of New London, and sign up is going on now online. There will also be a baby contest.

A popular part of New London Park Days is of course, the Food, Wine and Craft Beer Festival, which will be on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 apiece with a limit of 300 tickets available. Tickets can be purchased now at Abels in both New London and Hannibal, after May 20.

Of course no New London Park Days celebration would be complete without live music, and this year is no exception. Performers will include Andrew Stratman and the Dirty Midwest on Friday evening, then William Jackson, Grassy Creek and Hollow Pointe, all on Saturday.
