When it comes to special events, the phrase, "something for everyone," can be a cliche. But, in the case of New London Park Days, that really is the case.

The 30th annual edition of New London Park Days comes to the area around the Ralls County Courthouse Friday and Saturday, June 5-6.

The weekend gets underway early, with opening ceremonies at 11 a.m. Friday. The craft booths, food vendors, beer garden and carnival will also open for business around midday Friday. Royalty will be crowned on stage Friday evening, as well.

Highlights on Saturday's schedule include a baby contest and a 5K race at 8 a.m., a parade at 11 a.m. and the Food, Wine and Craft Beer Festival on the north side of the courthouse lawn from 3-6 p.m.

There will also be a B.O.S.S. Motorcycle Show, a kid's area, a cornhole tournament and a classic car cruise-in.
