Monroe City Man Arrested for Child Molestation

A Monroe City man is in the Monroe County Jail on child molestation charges.

Monroe City Police Chief Tyler Wheeler reports that a lengthy investigation by officers led to the arrest Wednesday of 40 year old James Robert Treaster.

Charges of child molestation and violation of an order of protection were filed in Monroe County Associate Court Thursday.

A court date has yet to be set. Treaster is in the Monroe County Jail on $75,000 cash only bond.
