Charges were filed Thursday against a Hannibal man in connection with alleged sexual contact with an underage girl.

According to Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton, two counts of second degree child molestation were filed against 63 year old Robert Branch.

In a probable cause statement, Branch is alleged to have had sexual contact outside the clothing of a female under the age of 12.

The alleged incident happened June 2nd in a camper near Palmyra.

Branch is in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond. An initial court date has not been set.
