Vandalia Drug Bust Nets One Arrest, More Pending

(Vandalia, Mo)—Agents of the East Central Missouri and Northeast Missouri Drug Task Force say the execution of two search warrants in Vandalia results in one arrest Thursday night.

Timothy James Scott 

31-year-old Timothy James Scott of Vandalia is arrested for meth distribution after agents find meth, drug paraphernalia, cash and firearms at a residence on West Bland Street.  Scott remains in jail without bond.

The second warrant was served in the 700 Block of West Paige, where marijuana and more drug paraphernalia were found.  Agents say more arrests are pending in connection with the second bust. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Vandalia Police, and Audrain County Sheriff’s Office assisted agents at the scene.
