US 61 Work at Palmyra

(PALMYRA)—MODOT and Chester Bross Construction start work today along US 61/US 24 in Palmyra. Improvements are being made at Ross Street… Main Cross and Thompson Street to make access to and from 61/24 safer. Work will begin on drainage and widening areas in the median and the west side of the highway to accommodate new turn lanes. A 45 mile per hour speed limit will be in effect in the construction zone. Crews will be working between 6 a-m and 6 p-m as weather permits.
