The United Way of Adams County has begun a search for a new Executive Director.

United Way Board President Kent Stegeman announced Friday Todd Bale informed the board he is resigning as Executive Director effective immediately.

Stegeman says that Bale felt it was time the United Way of Adams County pursue a change in leadership in the best interest of its 20 partner agencies and the 30,000 people it serves.

Bale has been executive director since 2017. He had been on a leave of absence since September.

A task force search committee is being formed to look for a new executive director for the United Way of Adams County.
