Two Springfield, Illinois men are in the Pike County, Illinois Jail in connection with a weekend burglary.

According to Pike County Sheriff David Greenwood, deputies responded to a report of a burglary and a stolen vehicle at a residence in Fishhook about 9 p.m. Sunday.

The stolen vehicle was located in Morgan County, where 43 year old William Williams and 43 year old Brian Hannon, both of Springfield, were taken into custody.

Williams and Hannon are charged with burglary, residential burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.

The investigation led to a third man also believed to be involved in the burglary, who had allegedly stolen a vehicle from Mt. Sterling.

44 year old Jacki McLaughlin of Greenview, Illinois was arrested Tuesday on warrants from multiple jurisdictions.

McLaughlin is also a suspect in another burglary in Fishhook in October. He is lodged in the Menard County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
