80s and 90s kids can remember walking into Toys R Us stores and just taking in all the sites of the new toys that we all wanted. Whether it was the new Game Boy game, or the cutest Cabbage Patch Doll we all remember that feeling. So, when the chain closed its doors in 2017 after filing bankruptcy a little bit of my childhood just vanished. Well, get ready the famous store is back and opening seven locations in Missouri.

  • Mid River - Saint Peters
  • South County (MO) - St. Louis
  • Battlefield - Springfield
  • Chestfield (MO) - Chesterfield

According to Fast Company, the toys chain has partnered with Macy's to bring back the toy chain.

the Toys “R” Us stores inside Macy’s range from between 1,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet in size, with larger flagship stores set to exist in Atlanta, Chicago, Honolulu, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and San Francisco.

Yes, shopping online is fun, don't get me wrong I do it all the time. But there is something about walking into a Toys R Us store and seeing Jewffory the Giraffe and having all those fond memories of my childhood come back that I can now share with my girls. I might have to go check one of these locations out just to feel like a kid again.
