It was supposed to be the wave of the future, but now it's fast becoming a thing of the past. Yet another major Missouri retailer is reportedly axing self-checkout aisles from all of its stores.

I would make a terrible cashier. How do I know? I've gone through self-checkout so many times and it's almost always been a miserable experience. For people like me, it's great news that a Missouri store is about to remove all of its self-checkout lanes and it appears to be the first of many that will do so.
