A day that motorists in northeast Missouri and western Illinois have been looking forward to for many years finally happens on Saturday.

Bat enthusiasts from all over the country are in Hannibal this weekend for the dedication of what has become the city’s second largest park.

The latest addition to the Hannibal-LaGrange University campus will be dedicated Friday, October 16.
