Suspected Explosive Device Discovered in Quincy

On 07/03/13 at approximately 1001 hours, Officers responded to 421 Scenic Drive in reference to the owner of the residence locating what appeared to be a grenade in the back yard of the residence. Subsequent to investigation, the Illinois Secretary of State Bomb Squad responded and took the suspected grenade into their custody.
