St. Charles Man Gets 40 Years for Sex Crimes Against Child He Was Babysitting

A St. Charles man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for committing sex offenses against the 10-year-old girl he was babysitting.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 40-year-old Myron Frederick Buchanan Sr. was sentenced Thursday. He was found guilty of statutory sodomy, child molestation and furnishing pornography to a minor in November.

The crimes occurred in 2013 at Buchanan's home.
