St. Charles County Jailer Accused of Sex Contact With Inmate

A suburban St. Louis jail guard is accused of having sex with a female inmate.

A St. Charles County grand jury has indicted 33-year-old Nathaniel Dean Johnson on a charge of having sexual contact with a prisoner.

Johnson was a St. Charles County corrections officer when the alleged misconduct happened in June.

Other details have not been made available.

A message seeking comment was left Wednesday with Johnson's attorney, Derek Thrasher.
