(HANNIBAL)—Missouri Highway Patrol troopers report 42 arrests following a sobriety checkpoint at Fulton Avenue and Missouri 79 in Hannibal late last Friday night and early Saturday morning.

Six of the arrests were for DWI. There were 11 arrests for various misdemeanor drug violations,  six arrests for misdemeanor criminal offenses and nine arrests for misdemeanor warrants.

Authorities also issued seven citations for seatbelt violations. The checkpoint was in place between 11 p-m Friday night and 3 a-m Saturday.
