Six People in Illinois Have Died From West Nile Virus

Illinois public health officials say six people have died from West Nile virus so far this year and the number of human cases in the state continues to grow. So far this year, 179 people have been sickened by the mosquito-borne illness. There were only 34 cases one year ago.
