Search Underway for Missing Knox County Girl

The Knox County Sheriff asks for your help in locating a possible runaway teenager.

According to Sheriff Robert Becker, his office was contacted about the 13 year old girl, who is believed to have run away from the Colony area.
Becker says the girl, whose name has not been released, has been missing since about 9 o’clock Monday night.

The girl is 4 feet 8 inches tall, has very fair skin with freckles and dark blonde hair with a reddish tint.

She was last seen wearing a red dress. It is not known if she was wearing shoes.

Authorities say she may be trying to go to Spickard, Missouri in the Chillicothe area.
