Salvation Army To Host BBQ Lunch

With the cancellation of the Adams County Fair this year, both the Salvation Army and the Western Illinois Pork Producers found themselves missing a yearly fundraising opportunity through the Pork Producers sandwich booth.

The Western Illinois Pork Producers and the Salvation Army Staff will be serving pork burgers and pork chop sandwiches in the Kroc Center courtyard at 405 Vermont in Quincy from 11am to 1 om Monday October 5^th and again on October 19.

The meal will be carry out only. According to Salvation army Assistant Development Director Matt Schmidt – not only will you receive a delicious meal, but your purchase will help the Salvation Army “rescue Christmas” for local families in need.
