Red Light Cameras Thriving in Hannibal

The flash of red-light cameras continues at a brisk pace in Hannibal.  The Hannibal Police Blotter shows 37 vehicles caught on camera running stop lights at 4 intersections along Highway 61 on Friday . Semis and commercial vehicles comprise a large number of the alleged violations.

All photos of red light violations are reviewed by an HPD officer before a citation is issued. The fine for running a red light is $130.
