Court records indicate that Quincy High School’s boys’ basketball coach recently pleaded guilty to DUI charges.

In documents filed Monday with the Adams County Circuit Clerk, it was reported that 37 year old Andy Douglas pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and was sentenced to 12 months supervision.

The terms of the supervision stipulate that Douglas may not drink, possess or consume alcohol nor enter any establishment whose primary purpose is the sale of alcohol.

Douglas was also ordered to pay $2,000 in fines, court costs and fees.

Quincy Public Schools spokesperson Bob Gough says the school is aware of the situation regarding Douglas, but does not discuss or comment on personnel matters involving district employees.
