Quincy Community Theatre will present 'Dracula: A Radio Play', just in time for Halloween. Performances are scheduled for October 12 and 13 at 7:30pm. The show, a tribute to the golden age of radio, will be performed by actors with script-in-hand, over live microphones, with the assistance of two live sound effects operators.

In advance of the 'Dracula' production, Quincy Community Theatre will team with the American Red Cross for a Dracula-themed blood drive from 10 am to 2 pm on Oct. 4.

Those that donate during the blood drive will receive a voucher for $5 off the adult ticket price for 'Dracula: A Radio Play.' Donors will enter the South Door theatre lobby, then be escorted through the spooky corridors of the theater by a trio of vampires. A light lunch will also be provided for donors.

Appointments may be made by calling the QCT Box Office at 217-222-3209.

Donors are reminded to eat iron rich foods and drink plenty of fluids the day before donating. Also, please do not eat or drink anything extremely hot or cold just prior to donation.

Tickets to 'Dracula: A Radio Play' are $12 for Adults and $10 for Students. For tickets, visit QCT online, or go to the box office  in the Oakley Lindsay Center.
