Police Investigating Death of 1-Month-Old Girl

Police are investigating the death of a 1-month-old baby girl found dead inside her family's Prospect Heights condominium.

The (Arlington Heights) Daily Herald reports that paramedics responded to a call of an infant in respiratory arrest Thursday morning. Police were called after the child was found dead in the apartment.

Police chief Jamie Dunne says the circumstances of the death are under investigation as police wait on autopsy results from the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

No charges have been filed.
