Pirates Blast Cardinals

Clint Barmes (BAHR'-mehs), Alex Presley and Garrett Jones
homered while Pittsburgh was scoring four times in the sixth inning
of a 14-5 pounding of St. Louis. Andrew McCutchen (right) had four of the
Pirates' season-high 19 hits, the last a three-run blast in the
ninth that gives the Bucs 38 homers this month.
