Palmyra Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

(NEW LONDON)—A collision involving a car and a motorcycle on US 61 at New London at 4 p-m Sunday results in serious injuries for a Palmyra motorcyclist. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a car driven by 74 year old Doris Mims of Hannibal pulled into the path of a northbound motorcycle operated by 31 year old Joseph Sodari of Palmyra. Troopers say Sodari was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. A passenger in the Mims car—78 year old Betty Osborn of Hannibal was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
