“The spacious classrooms, testing center and skills laboratory provide us with opportunities to offer new and innovative programs that will advance the future of nursing and healthcare in our area for decades to come. Equipping students with “knowledge for service” in this state-of-the-art facility will provide them with a solid foundation and prepare them for a profession that can be used to represent HLGU.”
HLGU offers a variety of nursing programs including practical nursing, LPN to RN, Associate of Science in Nursing, and an RN to BSN online program. Anyone that has considered going into the nursing field is encouraged to attend this free event.

“The current and future need for nurses at all levels is great. In our PN program students are able to earn their certificate and get into the job market in just under a year. Our program appeals to a wide age range of students (17 and up) who choose HLGU’s program because of its outstanding performance on the licensure examination,” stated Gwenda Pollard, practical nursing coordinator.
