Tuesday’s recall of summer fresh pasta salad from Hy-Vee stores does not affect any stores in this area.

In a press release, Hy-Vee announced the recall, citing the potential for Listeria monocytogenes in the frozen vegetables used in the salad.

Officials with the Hy-Vee stores in Quincy report they do not stock the salad that was recalled. In fact, the summer fresh pasta salads sold in Quincy are made fresh in-store.

However, store officials say that if they purchased the salad here and are still uncomfortable using it, they are welcome to bring it back to either of the Quincy Hy-Vee stores.
