Just announced on Facebook, the Friendship Brewing Company out of Wentzville will be taking over the former Mark Twain Brewing Company building in downtown Hannibal. The founder of Friendship Brewing Company said:
On May 2 will close on the Mark Twain Brewing Company property and assets. It will be our third, and not last, Friendship outpost. The real adventure starts May 2, we have ambitious plans and see tremendous ‘untapped’ potential at that location. Expect to see significant enhancements to the property inside and outside, operational refinements, and a much-increased engagement with the beer community and beyond.
The company's motto is Friends Making Beer, Beer Making Friends and I know all the beer enthusiasts out there can't wait to see this new brewing company come to Hannibal. Just looking at the website they have a great food menu and at least 25 rotating taps with at least 5 to 10 house beers available.
As soon as an opening date is available we will keep you updated.
LOOK: Best Beers From Every State
To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery.
