Lewis County Fire

(LEWISTOWN)—Firefighters in Lewis County battle a fire in some hay bales south of Lewistown Monday afternoon. The alarm came in around 3:45 p-m.  Smoke from the fire could be seen from several miles away. The fire has damaged over 300 bales. Firefighters used back burns to limit the spread of the fire. Loss from the fire is estimated at around 18-thousand dollars.
