June 14 Is A BIG Day For St. Louis Cardinal Fans
Redbird Nation get ready, June 14th is going to be a day of celebration!
Just announced through a press release the St, Louis Cardinals announced that starting June 14, Busch Stadium will be at FULL Capacity for the reminder of the 2021 season. How cool is this, a full 40,000 plus screaming Cardinal fans back in full force, I was so excited about this when the announcement was made. The Cards will be home that Monday, June 14 taking on the Miami Marlins.
Individual game tickets for full capacity games will go on sale on Thursday, May 27 at Noon on the Cardinals website, and they will be planning to bring back $6 tickets for many games this summer in hopes to make it more affordable for families to make it to a game. Just a few weeks ago, the Cardinals announced the capacity will be doubling just in time for the Cubbies to come to town this weekend, and was hoping by June to have the stadium back in full capacity, and they did just that.
So, the big question will you have to wear a mask? According to the press release, fully vaccinate fans that attend games will no longer be required to wear a mask inside the ballpark. Fans that are not yet vaccinated are strongly encouraged to continue wearing a mask.
They will continue to be mobile-only ticketing (download the Ballpark App), cashless transactions, and bags are not permitted except for medical bags, diaper bags with a child or clutches/wristlets. Busch Stadium will now open two-hours before the first pitch on home games Friday - Sunday and 90 minutes before the first pitch Monday - Thursday.
