Most Terrifying Missouri Place? Experts Say It’s a Roller Coaster
When most people think of the most terrifying places imaginable, they often think of houses that are haunted. It's different in Missouri as many will tell you that the most terrifying location in the state is actually a seat on this roller coaster.
I have ridden virtually every roller coaster in the state of Missouri, but this one has escaped me, but that's only because it was built after my prime thrill ride days.
How can a roller coaster be considered the most terrifying destination in Missouri?
Well, for starters it's a record-holder known as the world's fastest, steepest, and tallest spinning coaster. That's one reason why Love Exploring says that the Time Traveler at Silver Dollar City is the most terrifying experience in the state. This bad boy coaster has 3 inversions which include a dive loop, a vertical loop, and a zero-g roll. It's 100 feet tall and will drop you 90 feet leaving your stomach in your throat. Wikipedia says it opened in 2018. Because of the fact that the seats spin, it's never the same ride twice, but it's also a smooth experience that likely won't make you motion-sick which is quite an achievement for a wild ride like this.
