St. Louis, Missouri Food Truck that Won ‘Cupcake Wars’ is No More
A celebrated St. Louis, Missouri food business is closing its doors. The food truck that won "Cupcake Wars" years ago has just announced they will no longer be baking for their customers.
Do you remember when The Sweet Divine was on the Food Network's Cupcake Wars? This was their audition video more than 12 years ago.
Sad news as the family just announced on their Facebook page that they're retiring from the baking business which had expanded from the original food truck to a brick and mortar bakery, too.
The Sweet Divine had overcome a lot over the years including a devastating bakery fire back in 2016.
The fact that this St. Louis, Missouri food truck/bakery business brought the area into the national spotlight on the Food Network reality show was and is impressive. The Cupcake Wars was an intense competition.
It's been a challenging time for many restaurants and food trucks. Certainly wish this family the best as they ride off into the cupcake sunset in St. Louis.
