Triangle Darker than Night Sky Spotted Near Missouri UFO Hotspot
You've no doubt heard descriptions of UFO encounters before, but there's a new one that just happened near a Missouri UFO hotspot unlike any in recent memory. It was a totally silent triangular object that was described as being darker than the night sky.
The National UFO Reporting Center just shared this eyewitness testimony which happened in Jackson, Missouri which is near Cape Girardeau. This encounter happened just a week or two ago on October 23, 2024 just past 8pm. It was a clear sky that night with no clouds, but there certainly was something in the sky.
So I don't misrepresent this person's story, here are their exact words of what they saw that night:
"Triangular aircraft was flying southbound. At first appeared to be a bird flying, but once directly overhead, the object was clearly a triangle. The triangle was darker than the cloudless, starry sky. It would've been easy to miss the aircraft of your glazed away, but once you fixed your eyes on the aircraft, you could see distinct circles."
The person said that the unidentified craft made no noise. They added this note:
"The lights were sort of orange when seen directly above but extremely dim...This aircraft was designed to be concealed in plain sight."
What is the Cape Girardeau connection to famous UFO sightings?
One of the most famous UFO crashes in history happened in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 1941. There's a book written about a Cape Girardeau, Missouri minister who was called out in the middle of the night to respond to a crash of an object not of this world called "The Cape Girardeau 1941 UFO Incident".
What in the world are Missourians seeing near Cape Girardeau and, more importantly, what are their intentions? This newest sighting is just the latest in a long line of odd encounters in this corner of southeastern Missouri.
