Health Tech Company Laying Off 430 – Missouri Workers Impacted
End of year layoffs are not just affecting heritage companies. There's news that a health insurance technology company is about to layoff 430 and Missouri workers will be affected according to official documents submitted to the state.
There's a newly revised WARN notice just posted on Missouri Work Net showing that a tech company in the health insurance field is posting a big layoff. It says that Get Insured by Vimo will be laying off 430 workers effective February 19, 2025. It says that employees in Missouri will be affected with 4 in Jackson, Cape Girardeau and St. Louis, Missouri.
The official company website says Get Insured is a "leading provider of health insurance technology and customer service solutions for state governments, employers, and consumers".
The WARN notice on the Missouri Work Net website says the state was notified on December 20 and was revised on December 27, 2024. This new listing brings the total to 5238 Missouri jobs lost this year from layoffs according to the state.
