Food is a very subjective thing. What is a delicious creation for one person may not be appealing to another. Pancakes are especially difficult to get right. However, if you look at online reviews, one of the most respected pancake places in Missouri sits on a rather inconspicuous corner with helpings that dwarf the plate they're served on.

According to Cheapism, this is the most respected pancake place in Missouri and it's called Succotash. You should see the size of the portions that I've seen many share online at this Missouri place that specializes in all things brunch.

I'm always wary of relying on the opinion of just one writer, but in this case the Yelp reviews of Succotash back up the recommendation. I've noticed that their owner pays close attention to what is said about her restaurant and most of the reviews are stellar. Here are a few:
