It's time to check your pockets because there's a rare dime out there somewhere in Missouri that could be worth up to half a million bucks if you can find one with something key missing.
The Coin Guy on TikTok scored this nice find involving a 1975 dime. As they pointed out, a regular 1975 dime is supposed to look like this with a "S" above the year.
A rare few dimes in 1975 were minted, but did not have a letter above the year. That means it's worth a small fortune.
Look at multiple auctions including the record in September of 2019 when one of these dimes sold for more than $400,000. Another sold for more than $300,000.
Talk about "found money". That would be the ultimate way to pay off your nice house quick.
