I've been to many Missouri caves, but they're the commercial ones with lights, stairs and railing. The longest cave system in Missouri doesn't have any of those luxuries. A recent exploration by a team found bones hundreds of feet beneath the earth.

I came across this recent video share by TAG Caver on YouTube. It's the Crevice Cave near Perryville, Missouri which is still being surveyed, but already there are 31.2 miles of mapped caverns.

Check out snapshots from their video exploration including many bones and fish they found below plus a bat that became encrusted in a cave wall.

Let me emphasize DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELF UNLESS YOU'RE A PROFESSIONAL. This team obviously has years of experience and know what they're doing to be safe. I find Missouri caves like this fascinating, but would never attempt it even with a professional guide.

I would highly recommend following TAG Caver on YouTube if you enjoy these kinds of cave adventures.
